Excellent for breeding setups. Just attach a source of air to the top of the sponge filter and the air stone will evenly filter the water through the sponge and up the lift tube. Creates an excellent source of biological filtration. The weighted base stops it from floating to the top of the tank. The internal strainers snap together and are made from a durable flexible plastic for longer life. The 180 is good for tanks up to 180 gallons.
